Mr Loophole Misses Small Print
Celebrity lawyer hits the headlines once again… because of his dog…
No high profile clients having their licences saved this time.
Apparently the tabloids’ favorite lawyer, Nick Freeman, missed the small print on his pet insurance and landed himself a £5,000 bill. His Staffordshire bull terrier, Rocco, collapsed during a family holiday in the South of France but vets bills weren’t covered by his policy which required an additional £100 premium – noted in the small print.
Daily Mail: ‘I realise there’s a slight irony about it,’ admitted the man who has successfully defended the likes of golfer Colin Montgomerie and cricketer Andrew Flintoff through his mastery of detail.
‘The reality is that when you’re looking out for a client’s interests, you do so far better than when it’s your own situation.
Five grand saving his dog and a load of heart-warming PR to dog-loving dodgy drivers.
