There were various bankers and the Big4 accounting firms also put in a solid showing amongst the runners up of CityAM’s annual competition. But the (only) lawyer to make it into the top ten was Eversheds partner, Matthew Allen.

The legal eagles have managed to make it onto the leaderboard this year for the first time in the form of Eversheds partner Matthew Allen.

Matthew leads the financial services dispute resolution team and has acted for a sparkling roster of clients, including Schroders and Hermes Fund Managers. (CityAM)

A dashing picture of Matthew can be viewed on the Eversheds website but although his bio includes plenty of comments from satisfied clients, so far it makes no mention of this career milestone.
