SJ Berwin has seen turnover fall 7% in the last financial year – revenues dropped  from the total of £184m in 2008-09 to £171m this year.

It is the second year in a row that the City firm has posted a decline in turnover, although it’s a distinct improvement on last year’s 14% drop from 2007-08’s £215m.

Despite the falls in revenue, profits per equity partner (PEP) have risen 9% to £447,000. Still its a long way off the £801k in PEP which marked 2007-08.
