Lawyer Dating Fail

Leads to lawyer suing…

Charles Tyrwhitt UK

Goes without saying these days, doesn’t it. Self-respecting lawyer receives unsatisfactory service, supplier receives proceedings. Well this 51-year-old lawyer felt like he had been stiffed over a rather expensive honey pot or “powerful personal headhunting agency for successful bachelors” as it labels itself…

Law is Cool: A lawyer in Manhattan is suing his dating service for failing to provide that special someone. John Friedland claims that he paid $10,000 for the services of Amy Laurent International, only to be set up with women who, according to his $100,000 claim, were already taken, weren’t “suitable” to his goals or wouldn’t consider “someone of plaintiff’s background”. (Because there’s no deal-breaker like finding out your date is a Manhattan lawyer willing to drop ten grand to meet you).

As Law is Cool succinctly alluded to, the clue may be in the fact he had to pay $10,000 for heads on platters a date in the first place.
