Field Fisher Waterhouse has made up nine lawyers to its partnership in the annual promotions round. That’s a record for the firm. All of the new partners will be in the London office. They include: Arik Aslanyan, George Cotter and Christine Phillips corporate; Fiona McLellan and Nick Thorpe – employment;  James Buckingham and Neil Wallis technology; Harminder Bains – personal injury and Leighton Cassidy – trademark and brand protection.

Allen & Overy has announced that 25 associates will be in its annual counsel promotions, with six in the City. Other offices to benefit will be Paris,  Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong and Luxembourg, Bangkok, Beijing, Madrid, New York and Tokyo.
