Solicitor Gutted in Fishing Dispute
All over a good decking…
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen fans need to take care where they erect decking. You can’t just slap it up next to any old water feature. Especially if it’s a fishing river in Scotland.
The Journal Online: A consortium of salmon fishermen on the River Tummel in Perthshire has won a legal battle against a solicitor who had erected decking jutting into the river from the foot of his garden.
Sheriff Principal Alistair Dunlop QC at Perth Sheriff Court allowed an appeal against a sheriff’s ruling in favour of Branislav Sudjic and ordered the lawyer to remove the decking, which measures around 8m by 4m, within three months.
Gutting.
