Hammonds has promoted eight associates to partner this year with three in its Manchester office and one each in Birmingham and Leeds. Hammonds’ international offices in Berlin, Hong Kong and Brussels all receive one new partner. Manchester’s promotions included Andrew Millar and Giles Chesher – corporate and Anthony Taylor – commercial litigation; Leeds, Chris Caulfield – commercial litigation and Birmingham, Ramez Moussa – employment.

Meanwhile Norton Rose has made up 11 new partners. Four in London including Chris Grieves and Jason Moss – corporate finance, Nigel Hewitson – real estate and Angela Savin – tax, and the rest overseas. Two will be based in Singapore, two in Australia and one each in the firm’s Abu Dhabi, Athens and Riyadh offices.
