Associate Promotions: Bird & Bird, Lovells, Eversheds
Overseas offices reap the lions share of promotions from this trio…
Bird & Bird has made up 10 lawyers in its annual promotions round, but only one in London; dispute resolution lawyer Jonathan Speed. The firm’s European offices were the main benficiaries.
Lovells has made up 21 lawyers; five new partners were promoted in the City including Ed Bowyer – employment, Christopher Cross – project finance, Paul Joukador – corporate, Amit Nayyar – corporate and Guy Potel – corporate finance. Again, Europe received the bulk of the promotions with Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai also benefiting.
Finally Eversheds has promoted 19 lawyers – ten in its European offices and one in South Africa. Eight are UK based; in Birmingham: Gemma Curtis and Patrick Davis – both company commercial and David Feist – litigation. In Cambridge: Dominic Morris – real estate and Adrian Toutoungi – company commercial. In Cardiff: Rob McNabb – litigation. Leeds: Damian Hyndman, litigation and London Richard Little, also litigation.
