Law Society and Eversheds Nail Superbrands Contest
Fine performances in the country’s largest business-to-business brands survey…
Which might deserve a large dose of salt.
The Law Society has been voted the strongest brand in the Association & Accreditation sector of the Business Superbrands survey for the second year running. It ranked 75th out of the top 500 brands overall, up from 118th last year. That’s higher than any actual law firms.
Meanwhile, Eversheds was the top law firm placing at number 214 in the overall rankings, up from 241 last year. The national outfit ran ahead of all the magic circle firms. Others that made it into the rankings include CC (225), Linklaters (238), Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (282), Slaughter and May (286), Allen & Overy (323), Lovells (435) and Simmons & Simmons (477).
The top ten may make some sense:
1. Microsoft
2. Rolls-Royce Group
3. BlackBerry
4. Virgin Atlantic
5. Google
6. London Stock Exchange
7. GlaxoSmithKline
8. British Airways
9. VISA
10. PricewaterhouseCoopers
But a ranking of 500 is asking for abberations and outliers.
