Daily Mail: Labour could pay snitches to shop benefit cheat neighbours in new crackdown on welfare fraud

And it’s not just Daily Mail scaremongering…

Guardian: The government already has benefit hotlines where suspected cheats can be shopped, but this is the first time a minister has suggested that anyone who reveals a benefit cheat might secure a proportion of the money recovered, or that there should be a financial incentive.

It’s like spending money to create a man made disease and then spending more money on foul tasting medicine to hide the symptoms. Crackers.

What sort of neighbourly spying will be next on the agenda?
