Hammonds Seeks Client Help for Recruitment. Oh, it’s extending Trainee Deferrals too.

Hammonds summer schemers will face an additional hurdle when they seek a training contract (if they’re not put off by the extended trainee deferrals)…

The good news.

A shiny new innovation for Hammonds’ summer students. As part of the firm’s summer vacation scheme, prospective trainess will have to face a panel of clients, adding a slightly unusual dimension to the recruitment process.

The bad news.

Separately, it is understood that Hammonds is also extending its trainee deferral programme. The firm has asked 17 students scheduled to start at the firm in September 2010 to consider deferring for 12 months.
