German “Stunner” Surprise, Soldier’s Snapshot Shocker, Pi$$ed Passenger and Deceptive Magistrate Gets Stripped…

* A German man who bid £1,400 to win a night of passion with a stunning model was distraught to find out his ‘date’ was a teenage boy running an online scam. Stefan Koch, 27, turned up at the model’s flat to collect his prize but instead of the promised beauty he found “some spotty little kid with a laptop”; 17-year-old Dieter Muhr. Police say Muhr faces charges of fraud and deception. (Ananova)

* Paedophile paranoia. The family of an Illinois National Guard soldier said Friday that he’s been charged with possession of child pornography in Afghanistan over innocent snapshots of a 4-year-old relative in a swimsuit which were sent with a bunch of other photos to keep him from feeling homesick. * Frenchman Willy Risi, one of the passengers caught up in the Eurostar chaos last month is to sue for ‘false imprisonment’, and believes he should receive a six-figure sum in compensation. (Mail)

* A former magistrate and accountant Nirmal Sharma, 51, of Langley Road, Slough, Berkshire who was jailed for a £38,000 fraud was ordered to give up his assets worth £4.1 million at a confiscation hearing. He was told he must pay the cash within six months or face eight years in prison under tough legislation designed to strip criminals of their “ill-gotten gains”. (Independent)
