Halliwells Sliced by Kennedys' Sheffield Steal
Kennedys is set to launch an insurance team in Sheffield. And that team is to come from Halliwells… all 70 of them.
It is understood that the 70 leavers are to switch firms under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (Tupe).
Eight Halliwells partners are to move to Kennedys along with a further 62 members of staff. There will be 45 fee earners included in that figure.
This is the latest in a string of recent partner exits for Halliwells and tops off a tough year for the firm which saw a 15% fall in revenue for the first half.
