
Results: Linklaters Loses its Lustre
Despite its prowess, Linklaters’ financials have not escaped the ravages of the downturn unscathed. The magic circle firm reported a 9.5% drop in revenue for the first half of the 2009-10 financial year. Revenues for the period fell to £591m for the six-months to the end of October, compared with £653m last year. Despite its prowess, Linklaters’ financials have not escaped the ravages of the downturn unscathed. The magic circle firm reported a 9.5% drop in revenue for the first half of the 2009-10 financial year. Revenues for the period fell to £591m for the six-months to the end of October, compared with £653m last year.
This is a slightly larger retreat than rival Allen & Overy which, earlier this month, posted a 7% drop compared to the first half of last year.
