Top firms used to be populated with ambitious, sleep-deprived deal junkies gunning for partner. Now they’re overflowing with entitled, whiny pussies. Yes, pussies. And I mean that in a gender-neutral, non-sexual way…
…I know lots of you smug, work-allergic associates out there don’t want to make partner. I get it. It’s beneath you. I understand. But that doesn’t mean you’re entitled to work less than lawyers who actually want to accomplish something with their lives…

point taken about wingeing associates but isn’t he a wingeing partner by the same logic. Because it’s taken until he is 38 to realise that not everyone shares his dream of becoming partner he takes a swipe at the more open minded associates that couldn’t care less but want a good foundation on their CV. Yes associates can take advantage too

Partners suck ass. This guy is angry that his wife is probably shagging the help. While he toils away for 80hrs a weeks to pay private school fees for his kids who hate his guts…
