I should’ve seen this one coming, I know. I’ve had enough experience by now with sexual humiliation at the hands of Big Law to have known better.  But no matter how seasoned, how street smart you may think you are, this one sneaks up on you without warning. One minute, you’re cruising along on a string of all-nighters for a fire-drill deal with a senior associate you know only well enough to find mildly repulsive; the next minute, you’re pinning him up against the wall of a file room with your Prada pencil skirt hiked up around your waist, clawing at each other like starved lunatics. The culprit: Deal Goggles. And let me assure you from recent personal experience, by the time you realize you’re wearing them, it’s way too late.

Why is it that minority women hate their big law lives so much? This girl certainly isn’t white, but her unabashed social climbing and complete sellout mentality are way too obvious for the even for the typical Asian. And besides, an Asian woman would never throw herself at a guy named spider. After all, what would she tell those parents who have been beating her for bringing home 99% from K4-12, if she brought home a spider. This girl is either black or Hispanic, and with the way she glosses over racial issues, I am going to go with Hispanic. I say this just to blow the minds of all you folks who are imagining a white woman, and don’t try to tell me you were not. (racist bastards)

Someone should respond.
If someone is described as a professional footballer, all other things being equal, I’d instinctively assume it was a man. This is because the majority of professional footballers are men, not because I am sexist. The overwhelming majority of female solicitors I know are white, which accounts for why I probably did imagine that the author of the above was white.
So either I’m a racist or the previous poster is a moron.
