Verne prison in Dorset has imposed the ban after it caught inmates getting drunk on the stuff. According to Britbart Peter McParlin of the Prison Officers Association says they were using it to make illicit alcoholic concoctions by mixing it with fruit, water and sugar. Yum. They have now decided that giving inmates access to a gel with an alcohol content was unwise.
