Lovells has confirmed that it is holding onto 25 out of its 36 newly qualified lawyers in September, a 69% retention rate. This represents a small drop compared to the firm’s retention rate for September 2008 which stood at 74 per cent, but is not bad given the climate. Didn’t one firm get a 100% retention rate this year. Can’t remember the name of it, so probably not a ‘leading City firm’
