Everyone loves a good ranking. Here we have an comprehensive table from US News and World Report that covers the top 400 universities and colleges. And yes Bangor graduates you can be proud – Bangor Universtiy made it into the world rankings at 400= with Kasetsart University Thailand. Obviously we cannot squeeze the whole list in (click here to view in full) so here’s a taster – the top ten: 1. Harvard

….and proud.The first four are basically a given in any rankings but what does it actuall mean? Wear your badge of honour but as with anything your only as good as your last score and you can’t live off past glories forever! M&A and still employed!

Complete rubbish. It seems whoever compiled this used different standards when appraising non US/UK unis and European ones. The University of Vienna at position 115? C’mon you guys, just because you cannot understand German and/or differing teaching methods, course structure:)

Durham University stuck behind a load of mid-table universities? Key score is the Employer one and it’s there on 99. The rest is just baloney.

What an absolute farce this survey appears to be! Both the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore rank above some exceptional European, US and Australian Universities.
