The perma-tanned couple have apparently agreed to a quick divorce as hostilities have escalated in the tabloid press. Lawyers have been appointed on both sides with Jordan instructing celebrity favorite Fiona Shackleton of Payne Hicks Beach and Peter Andre appointing Stephen Foster of litigation boutique Stewarts Law . Andre is believed to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement, waiving his rights to the glamour model’s fortune, but legal commentators have suggested that he could challenge the agreement because the couple have since had children together.

Shackleton is probably Britain’s best known celebrity divorce lawyer, having represented the Prince Charles, Madonna and Sir Paul McCartney in the past. Her defining moment in the public’s consciousness arrived when McCartney’s former crackpot wife, Heather Mills, tipped a jug of water over her head in court during their divorce hearing last year.

The tabloids dubbed Shackleton as the "steel magnolia" and more recently nicknamed her "Shacka" after she acted for Macca. Oh to be famous.
