German inland revenue investigators are looking to claim 50% of the money that a teenage student earned for ‘auctioning’ her virginity online because they claim it was "tantamount to prostitution."
Romanian-born 18 year old Alina Percea, who is a student in Germany, was paid £8,800 [$13,827] in cash for a weekend of sex with an Italian businessman after she auctioned her virginity on the internet. Although Romanian-born, the computer studies student is legally allowed to work in Germany for 90 days as long as she arrived on a student visa. However, tax officials in Berlin consider the 18-year-old’s act as "nothing more than prostitution," which although legal in Germany, is very heavily taxed.
In addition to the tax bill, because Alina earned so much in such a short time, she may even be liable for VAT too. VAT in Germany works out to 19%, meaning the sale of her virginity could land her with just over £3,000 in the end. Was it worth it?

Bullshit, there is no tax for sale of virginity in Germany! Virginity can be lost only once. A one time sale is not a trade business like prostitution (no sustainable business)!
