Osborne Clarke has advised Babcock Marine on two major defence contracts – one is a £150m maintenance contract with the Royal Navy submarine fleet.
Finally, in another credit crunching bankruptcy bonanza, Jones Day has billed Chrysler more than $18.5m (£12.3m) during the past five months, according to the Am Law Daily . Chrysler paid Jones Day $1m (£660,000) to establish a retainer late last year, and according to the US firm’s application to be Chrysler’s lead counsel, around $5.8m (£3.8m) remains in the retainer, meaning the firm has drawn down more than $13m (£8.6m) so far.
Happy sailing.

Even if I work on a hundred deals, I will be so old and knackerd by the time I can afford a gin palace I’ll probably just opt for a retirements supply of the stuff instead.
