More than 50% are understood to have opted to defer their start date to do the one-year course.
Rather generously, Simmons are covering the course fees and giving the students a £15,000 maintenance grant to cover living costs.

Getting more qualifications instead of starting work when there is nothing to do is a good idea, especially if someone else foots the bill.

Lucky trainees. Probably not quite the same as a Harvard MBA but better than sitting on your hands for a year wondering why you chose law as a job.
