A bit of time off and some sun, one could be fogiven for forgetting the economic misery for a moment… However, the Lawyer’s Law Firm of the Year 2007 and number 52 in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2008, Trowers & Hamlins , has now made another round of job cuts – 17 fee earners and support staff have been axed from the firm’s London office.
All just a month after Trowers made up seven new partners.
The firm has already carried out a number of cutbacks this year across its offices in Manchester, Exeter and the Middle East, resulting in 16 employees being laid off.
