Eversheds and Clifford Chance Home Working

The anti-capitalist marches passed without too much drama yesterday. There were approximately 87 arrests, including four for violent disorder, six public order offences and 11 for possessing a police uniform. A few  windows were smashed at branch of RBS and there were scuffles with police, these seemed to be the most rebellious of the activities though.

A few  windows were smashed at branch of RBS and there were scuffles with police, these seemed to be the most rebellious of the activities though.

The lucky folk at Eversheds and Clifford Chance were asked to take a bit of time off work from home to avoid any potential trouble. Many others were instructed to dress down, Thai-dye t-shirts and beads were briefly all the rage in the City.

No doubt there will be additional excitement today as world leaders gather for their knees up talks. More protests are expected – demonstrators plan to converge on the London Stock Exchange and on the Excel Centre…
