Redundancy Watch: Mayer Brown

US firm, Mayer Brown, is back in the news with more redundancies. Having earlier this month completed its first redundancy round, with nine London lawyers losing their jobs from a total of 11 under consultation, the firm has now begun its second round of redundancies in London. Up to 55 staff will face the axe. The consultation will include lawyers, business support and secretarial staff. Everyone else will have their salaries frozen. Ouch.
