Wesley Snipes, king of kung-fu style beat-em-up movies and comic book hero in the role of vampire slaying Blade, has managed to have his passport confiscated. Despite a travel ban during the appeal of his conviction on three misdemeanor tax fraud counts which is pending in the Eleventh Circuit, Snipes was still allowed to travel to London (to help edit his new movie, Gallowwalker ) and to Bangkok (to film the movie Chasing the Dragon ) under a court order. However, obviously getting a little lost on his jet-setting trip, he managed to find himself in Dubai of all places. Dubai is 3400 miles from London and 4300 miles from Bangkok and there are several other differences one would normally pick up, even from a quick scan of the highly informative in-flight magazine. So for his navigational slip, according to TaxProf Blog , the judge presiding over his case has ordered him to surrender his passport. Dohh…
And yes it’s true Paul McCartney is a real-estate lawyer for Davies Arnold Cooper. If you don’t believe us have a look . Cheap gag we know but if readers insist on sending such things, who are we to argue?
