I don't think changing the law will change the culture of big law firms. You know what to expect but at the same time you do not have to feel like you are being abused; you can stand up for yourself and as long as you are not just trying to skive people will respect you if you stand your ground when you have to. I did not sign up to be bullied into working every hour God sends me but that is what happened. It is difficult to say no as a junior associate.
