the partners in most firms probably spend more than 50k on lunches + entertainment…

I heard its worst at the investment banks….

this is pretty depressing to hear as an undergrad.

oh well. 2011 trainee time. the economy should be off its knees by then.

Yes, they do. One of my friends who used to work for one of the Swiss banks, won’t name which for the sake of Solicitr’s litigation dept, saw several colleagues frog marched out by security guards having had five minutes to collect their belongings. Funnily enough he no longer works there although I think he exited under his own steam so to speak.
