Twist as Lawyer Sues Wife for Herpes
Back in September the New York Post released a story about a Manhattan Lawyer who sued his wife for giving him Herpes contracted through an extra-marital affair. The case elicited much sympathy for the hard-working lawyer when it first became public but has now taken a bizarre turn: " Frederick Tanne, 48, a senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis, says he discovered his wife’s infidelity when he stumbled upon her herpes-treatment prescription in their medicine cabinet. Back in September the New York Post released a story about a Manhattan Lawyer who sued his wife for giving him Herpes contracted through an extra-marital affair. The case elicited much sympathy for the hard-working lawyer when it first became public but has now taken a bizarre turn:
" Frederick Tanne, 48, a senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis, says he discovered his wife’s infidelity when he stumbled upon her herpes-treatment prescription in their medicine cabinet.
Tanne alleges that his wife, Amy, has had numerous extramarital affairs – the most recent with Robert Stockel, an accountant from Westchester who he says knowingly transferred the virus to his wife around March 2008, according to the lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court last week."
According to the suit, prior to bringing the case, Tanne aparrently discovered he was infected with the incurable virus.
And according to court records…
" When Amy Tanne, 46, who took care of the couple’s teenage kids while her husband worked, discovered she was infected, she turned to her father, Samuel Messing, a doctor who prescribed her Valtrex.
Messing was also Frederick Tanne’s doctor but conspired with Amy Tanne to hide the infidelity and the subsequent infection, the suit charges.
Messing denied that his daughter was infected.
"My daughter does not have genital herpes," he said. "This is pure nonsense. I prescribed Valtrex for a cold sore on her lip. She never had a cold sore until she married him."
He also denied that his daughter ever had an affair.
"He just wants to make things difficult for my family," Messing said."
But , in a recent update of the case, the plot thickened somewhat…
According to the New York Post in court papers filed yesterday, Amy’s lawyer, Thomas Mullaney, said his client had a blood test last month and "presented as ‘negative’ for HSV-2, more commonly known as genital herpes, with which Mr. Tanne is allegedly infected."
Whoops, looks like Mr Tanne may have very publicly jumped the gun on this one!
And that sympathy has evaporated pretty quickly too:
Ugh! What a despicable low life."

When people have herpes, it’s important to tell potential sexual partners before they become physically involved. Many people think that herpes can only be transmitted when there are active blisters or sores, but that isn’t true. The virus still lives in the skin, even when it looks normal.
More and more people with herpes have to date with the infected on online dating sites such as STDcupid.net.

Using a reverse cellular search you can trace who owns any cell number, which means you can trace who is calling your spouse, or sending them text and picture messages. All you have to do is locate the numbers that you want to research, which you can typically get from your spouses cell.
